Need a micropressure sensor that can measure remotely.

I am new to Sparkfun and haven’t used any of this equipment before. I need a micro pressure sensor that can measure data remotely and preferably communicate via bluetooth for live readouts. I came across the BMP581 and BMP384 and think they may be well suited, but am not sure how they are powered. So my questions are:

  1. Can sensor BMP581 or BMP384 measure remotely?

  2. Can they provide live readouts via bluetooth or wired?

  3. How are they connected externally to read out data? Can I link them to a data acquisition system that runs off of DC voltage?

Thank you,

Brennan Lytle

  1. Not by default, you’d need to connect it to an MCU that has BT or wifi, etc

  2. Wired to an MCU and then sent; see https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/qw … e-overview

  3. Sure, see the hookup guide

This https://www.sparkfun.com/products/15663 is a great choice for an MCU with wifi & BT; we also sell a datalogger https://www.sparkfun.com/products/20594 that may be well suited for your project
