I placed an order via BatchPCB at the begining of the month. The order confirmation arrived on the 1st of December. However I havn’t yet recieved the shipping confirmation or the board. Would you be able to update me as to the status of the order please.
Mine was uploaded December 3rd, in time for the monday 12am cut off. I also wondered how that batch was going. I realize this time of year the mail is going to be slow getting it from you to me.
Not being impatient, but just would like to know if it’ll be a few more days, or another week or two.
Thank you for the heads up, and keep up the good work!
I ordered my board on December 7. I haven’t received it yet and I can wait, however when I check on my account and look at my orders it says that I haven’t ordered anything. Is this normal? I almost ordered the board again thinking that I didn’t do something right but I thought I’d post here first. If I’ve ordered a board and have not yet received it should I see a pending order in the My Acoount / Order History section?
Your order should show up when you log in. Mine is there, and the order status is “uploaded” I’ve seen other people comment that it will stay at “uploaded” until it changes to “shipped”
But if you don’t see the order when you log in, it sounds like there was a problem. I don’t work for SFE or anything, just putting in my 2 cents.
Odd how there has been no comments from Sparky lately??

You’ve hit the nail on the head there Parts-man. The last time I ordered a PCB from Sparkfun was before the Batchpcb Service idea had even been conceived (as far as i know anyway). It was common to not hear anything from sparkfun after the order confirmation then all of a sudden the boards would arrive through the door. However they were always very prompt with regards to replying to the Forum and emails. This time however I have sent emails on a variety of subjects and made a few posts to the board and heard nothing back. Please forgive me if these comments come after some incident of which I am unaware, however I am becoming increasingly concerned by the lack of communication. Even a simple email or post saying sorry guys I acidently pulled the plug on the server and lost all of your submissions would be preferable to complete silence.
Anyway, thats just my 2 cents, with a bit of luck Sparky will return and business will be as usual hopefully sooner than later.
Now you’ve got me worried. When I log in I see my board listed, but it looks like it’s in a shopping cart the same way it was when I ordered the board. However I did order the board and used paypal and it shows up in my paypal accout as payment to spark fun for the correct amount.
Now what do I do? I’ve submitted a question to the “contact us” several days ago and have not heard anything back. I think I’ll order the boards again, I’d rather pay twice and make sure and get the boards. This time I’ll pay with a credit card and see if that makes a difference. I’ll wait a couple of days to see what else I get from this forum.
Thanks guys. I’ll be so disappointed if my board wasn’t ordered.
May be ‘Santa’ sent Sparky some new ‘toys’ and he is playing with them before he puts them on Sparkfun…Or could just be busy at the new website that I keep hearing about. Don’t worry ‘he will be back’

When I log in I see the same thing (an “in the cart” icon). But when I go to the URL in the order confirmation email I got, I see the “uploaded” status
I don’t remember an order confirmation. I did get an email from paypal showing the payment was sent. Do you get the order confirmation immediately after submitting the order? Or the following Monday when the order is shipped to China?

I got the confirmation the same day I ordered. The email came from “BatchPCB [support@batchpcb.com]” and subject was “BatchPCB Order Confirmation (2005)”
Do you get the emails back from the DRC Bot? I guess you must if you were able to order in the first place. I had to disable all spam control to get those emails back
I only have the DRC passed email and the paypal confirmation email. No order confirmation so I guess it looks like my order didn’t get into the system. Someone said that there is a phone number somewhere. I have been looking for it and haven’t found it yet. I’ll try sending another email.
It looks like the PayPay submission had a glitch. I resent with a credit card and got a confirmation this time. Nathan is refunding my PayPal charge. I guess I’ll have to wait another couple of weeks for my board, sigh. I think I’ll use my credit card from now on.
opps…1 of the 3 boards is a coaster. My fault though…I looked back at my schmatic and I had 2 terminals reversed. Luckily it was one of the small boards ($5)
Eeek. Sorry for the delay! Feel free to email me with a prod. We’ve got our hands full with all sorts of off line fires - the forum hasn’t been checked in an awful long time.
There was a panel glitch back during the week of 11-28-05. Orders 51 through orders 56 were neglected completely until this week. They have been panelized on 12-26 (month late!). We have email each customer with an update and a partial refund due to our screw-up.
The PayPal error is something else. If we do not receive an order confirmation, we don’t ever see your order. If you’ve placed a PayPal order, please let us know so that we can look for it. I’ll check to see if something is amiss with the payment module.
As the new SFE system comes up, the BatchPCB processing will also see many needed improvements. We hope to have an online order status system soon.

I've messed up boards before but use a Dremmel tool and some softwires to "fix" it.
Well, I received 1/2 my order yesterday. I ordered 2 copies each of 2 designs. Got 2 copies of 1 design but the invoice indicated 4 PCBs. I sent an email to support@sparkfun.com last night. No response yet.
Gold Phoenix is not sending us all the copies we panelize. We are working out a solution. Please send me an email and we can issue a refund on your order.
