Just purchased my first Pi 5 and AI Hat.
Pi powers on and does everything fine but there’s no life from the AI Hat.
The LED on the Hat does not light up.
Using a Cana 27W power supply.
DOA?

Maybe - can you share a photo of it installed? In particular seeing the GPIO alignment/mounting and whatnot might prove useful
I think it’s DoA. Was it purchased from us? If so head over to Return Policy - SparkFun Electronics (contact vendor if purchased elsewhere) and we’ll get ya squared away
Try a different power supply and disconnect the peripherals that are attached (just apply power)…any change? If not, there might be an issue with the Pi instead
Only things that are connected to the Pi is the optional fan, USB mouse/keyboard and screen. No change if I unplug the USB and fan.
I don’t have another 27W power supply. Max I have lying around is a 10W. I get the message that there’s not enough power when I power on.
Between troublehsooting the AI hats, I broke the little PCIe slot retention clip on both boards.
