Preferred settings for board outline?

I’ve started seeing errors from the DRC bot with the default Eagle settings for the dimension layer. Typically I’ve been using a 1 mil outline on the dimension layer, and the CAM job includes that outline on the bottom copper and also in the .oln file.

Is that what the DRC bot is expecting, or should the settings be something else?

The milling layer is available, but I assume that layer should have line width equal to width of cut-- i.e. the desired router bit size–and that it isn’t supported by BatchPCB.

You should keep your minimum trace sizes on all layers to 8mil. Your 1mil outline will throw a DRC error if it is included in one of your gerber layers.
