Qwiic Alphanumeric Display Wall Mount Posts and overall dimensions

What are the dimensions of the screwhead that can fit within the wall mount posts of the Qwiic Alphanumeric display. I’m building a project which will use this display internally but need some way to mount it without using the wider standoff screw holes.

Also, what is the vertical height from the board to the top of the screen? This seems like a critical dimension which is omitted from the datasheets.

Perhaps Sparkfun could consider releasing 3D step models which would help with this.

Right now, I’m piecing together a few bits and bobs from other datasheets available on the website.

It seems like the display module itself is 8mm tall from the base of the module to the top of the screen. This is pulled from Sparkfun’s standalone data sheet of the module available at https://cdn.sparkfun.com/assets/d/c/5/c … 9-P6.8.pdf. Assuming Qwiic uses a 1.6mm PCB [?], this would make the total height from the base of the board 9.6mm.

Have you checked the dimension diagram of the Qwiic Alphanumeric Display?

I think you can do all the necessary calculations from this.

If you’re looking forward to making a wider display, you can see this design:
