The holes we use for 0.1" spaced headers are 1mm in diameter but can be slightly smaller depending on how thick the PTH plating was when the board was manufactured. 0.90mm to 0.95 would be a good estimate.
If you’re looking for pins for those holes, part number “PRT-00116”:https://www.sparkfun.com/products/116 would be a good choice.

Hi Jeff.
Unfortunately we don’t have anything that’s non solderable to connect to the serial header and you’d need to solder the header pins into the holes on the board.
If you want to use I2C, a cable like [CAB-14988 would work since your board already has headers soldered in place.](Flexible Qwiic Cable - Female Jumper (4-pin) - CAB-17261 - SparkFun Electronics)

You could use the Qwiic OpenLog with I2C (Qwiic cable) but I’m not aware of a makecode extension or Micro:bit library for that board so programming might get tricky.
Either the regular OpenLog or Qwiic OpenLog should work just fine serially, but you need a way to connect headers to either board. The only way I know of doing that would be to use header pins and solder them to the board.
Honestly, the easiest way to use the OpenLog with a Micro:bit would be to do it serially since you don’t need any extensions, but you’re either going to need to solder headers to the board or find someone that can solder those for you to do that.
