I have tried everything I can think of all peripherals disconnected, eeprom bootloader reflash for SD Card boot, new SD card, new power supply. The Pi was used for a local web server with no peripherals. The green light never comes on the red light stays solid read and the heat sink stays cold to the touch. Not sure what to do. Its less than a year old.
It might be dead…search the board for physical defects or something that may have shorted something. Are you seeing the OS/Pi screen at all?
You can also try using USB boot, sometimes that wakes them up. I’ve also seen 2 cases where leaving it plugged it for a day somehow fixed a stuck EEPROM
I have a usb c power monitor dongle and there isn’t any power draw to the board and the voltage is 5.2v but I will try the USB boot.
Two things I’d try are a different, known working power supply and a SD card from another working Pi.
If those don’t work, I think you need a new Pi.
I have 2 of the official RPI power supplies and neither work. I tried the SD card I have been using in my Pi 4 and it works fine. Its most likely dead as well.
