Raspberry Pi Touch Display 2 is DOA

Hello.
I purchased the Raspberry Pi Touch Display 2 and was eager to set it up.
Following the instructions, I attached it to my RPi4 with a working install of Octoprint.
There was no response on the screen. No signal, light, or display at all.
I rebooted several times, and SSH-ed into the RPi to ensure that it was functional. All ok.
I made sure that the power lead and display ribbon cable were attached correctly (correct orientation). All ok.
I tested the power lead leads with a multimeter, and the readout was 5.4V, including the connection to the display. Power is ok.
Conclusion - DOA.
Thank you,
-M

I run into the same issue. I got mine two days ago and tried it with my Raspberry Pi 5 immediately. The display was dark all the time during the trial. I measured the 5V with multimeter and confirmed that the 5V was applied onto the display. I also confirmed that the data cable was good because I replaced the display 2 with the old 7" display and used the same data cable and it worked.
I wonder how to apply RMA?

Update: The touch display 2 works after I installed the updates on Raspberry Pi 5.
