I was using a SparkFun MicroMod Asset Tracker Carrier Board, which has a SARA-R510M8S 01B-00 modem with fw version 03.15, A00.01 and I wanted to update the fw into latest version. I have followed the MicroMod Update Tool Hookup Guide: MicroMod Update Tool Hookup Guide - SparkFun Learn
Thus, I downloaded latest fw version from ublox resource website (from 15-Feb-2024) and the EasyFlash tool 12.08.
The flash process successed but now I cannot communicate to the SARA-R5 modem. I receive now nothing from terminal. I have tried to flash the correct fw version without success. Besides, I cannot power on/off the modem with the “PWR_ON” pin (Sara On button).
Is there any way to force a fw update? Is it possible to erase and write the modem flash with any of the interfaces (UART, USB, etc.)?
