Is there any way to reprogram a SparkFun IR Remote Kit KIT-14677 to output different numbers for each key ?

Then I could use two or more of these in the same room for different things.

Thanks TS-Russell for the reply.

But the tutorial says nothing about changing the output of the remote itself. It appears there is no easy way to crack open the remote and do some re-programing.
