I am working with e-textiles, programming in the Arduino IDE with Circuit Playground Express. When I use previously bought USB to micro-USB cords, the board is recognized easily, and I can select the port in the Tools menu of the IDE. However, about half of these reversible cords (CAB-15428) (5 to be precise) do not make that connection. When I plug it in using those seemingly defective cords, the board is powered, but it is unable to be recognized in the IDE. I’ve used all of Arduino’s troubleshooting tips, and it seems like it is a problem with the cords themselves. Any advice appreciated!
Hello, thanks for posting on the forums.
I feel like you may have just received a few bad cables. This is certainly not common for the product, however, I won’t rule out that a small batch of them could be defective.
I have your case open in our ticketing system. I will get you taken care of.
