RN-XV Breadboard

Hi, I’m trying to use the RN-XV in a project. I started by plugging it into a XBee USB Explorer, configured it, and can connect over wifi and send commands to control the onboard GPIO pins. Next I plugged it into XBee breakout board, and followed this design: http://log.liminastudio.com/itp/physica … ote-switch

The problem is when I connect over wifi, it seems to randomly hang, which it never does while connected to the USB explorer. I’m not sure if I’m getting too much noise in the power, power fluctuations, some other type of interference, or really what to do next. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Chad

Just in case anyone else runs into this. The breadboard it’s self was interfering with the signal. Once I removed the RN-XV from the breadboard and connected from the breadboard to it via wires, everything works great.
