RTK-Surveyor has no Bluetooth light

I am having an issue connecting to my RTK-Surveyor.

When I power on the device I am able to get the PPS light blinking but I am not able to connect via Bluetooth or WIFI. I have followed previous posts and haven’t gotten very far.

  1. when I plug USB in the ESP32 slot i get gibberish

  2. when I plug USB into the ZED slot I get a successful connection to u-center

The only indicators that I see is one dimly lit led on the 10cm indicator.

as far as switches and other things inside are concerned, I have had the device open but not recently and i haven’t ever modified the DIP switches.

the outside switches are both down (until i turn on the device to test) at which point i turn on the device but leave it in rover mode

Thanks for any assistance you might provide.

This is the serial output of the ESP:

Something has caused the ESP32 to loose its firmware. Please try loading the latest firmware using these instructions: https://docs.sparkfun.com/SparkFun_RTK_ … re_update/

If that fails, we’ll have you send the unit back and replace it.

Brilliant!

That worked.

Glad to hear it! Sorry it lost its mind. If you have any issues in the future, please let us know.
