sd breakout

Hi, The schematic I;m following, has different names for the ports on its SD card breakout board to the ones on my breakout board.

I have:

CS

DI

VCC

CLK

GND

DO

IRQ

P9

CD

WP

COM

It has: (the part after the - is where they are to be conected)

CS - CS

SI - MOSI

VSS1 - GND

VDD - VCC

SCLK - SCLK

VSS2 - GND

SO - MISO

RSV -

RSV -

So I have connected mine up as follows

CS - CS

DI - MOSI

VCC - VCC

CLK - SCLK

GND - GND

DO - MISO

IRQ

P9

CD

WP

COM

The other ones I couldnt find a common meaning for. Do you know where they should go?

If no one knows does anyone know how i could find out?

Thanks

ALex

IRQ is likely an interrupt (maybe used to let you know when a slow operation is finished?)

WP is probably write protect. RSV may be reserved

Just some guesses.

P9 has no meaning in SPI mode. It is one of the data lines in nibble mode.

CD is probably Card Detect.

so there is only one i need to connect left, because two are unused. does anyone know which it is?

thanks
