SF Qwiic Dynamic NFC Tag - Sending an Android device to a website

Hi SparkFun,

When I use the example code “Example08-NDEF_URI.ino” for the SparkFun Qwiic Dynamic NFC/RFID Tag, it works as expected with an iOS device. However, when I try it with my coworker’s Android phone, their device displays the message “No Supported App for this NFC Tag”. Their device appears to have all of the right settings enabled to interface with the tag, and is the only Android phone I can get my hands on.

Question: Are we sure that the example code properly formats a URI/URL to be read by an Android device? Thanks!

I’m hoping to use the dynamic tags in a museum-like setting, where I’m not going to have control over the devices/phones that are attempting to acquire information from the dynamic tag. In a gallery where photography is not allowed, this would eliminate the use of camera acquired QR codes.
