I have recently purchased a SparkFun GPS-RTK2 Board and was following the instructions here (https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/ge … for-u-blox) to begin using U-Center with my board. However, the board does not appear in the device manager, neither under sensors nor ports, despite the PWR, RTK, and FENCE indicator lights all being lit. My laptop only has 1 USB-A port which I have used other peripherals through, and I lack other computers to test on, so I cannot rule out a problem with the board entirely. How can I get my computer to recognize this device?
Could be a bad or “device charging only” USB cable. Try another know good cable and see if that works.
Hi,
If your laptop is old, you may need to install a driver for the u-blox module? Please see:

I hope this helps,

This was it. You’d think Sparkfun would send the kit with a data cable. Thank you!
No worries, USB cables give a lot of people trouble.
Glad you got it figured out!
