Initially we used Rockblock 9603 modem with patch antenna and it worked, I am able to send and receive the data. I wanted to change the antenna to SMA connector to use external antenna.
So, I removed the 9603 module to change the ufl connector to SMA, After changing the connector I plugged I have re-inserted the 9603 module into the module and powered it into the power, but it is not powering on(I was not able to see the LED lights).
I would like to know what are the possible reasons for this to happen and how to debug to make it working.
Thanks
Were the steps here https://docs.rockblock.rock7.com/docs/s … tenna-mode followed?

Hi, sorry for the late reply. We had followed the steps in that link before posting this question. All we did was just change the antenna to SMA, but it stopped working after that. Even after reverting this back it’s not working at all.
Here’s some pictures of the device itself. Front: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1l7GR1h … share_link, Back: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1l3O_SJ … share_link
Also, the back plane (the green board at the base) of the module itself seems to work because I can detect the TTY device in my laptop. However, I’m unable to communicate to the RockBlock module at all over the UART session.
Hi, just checking in. Any luck with finding a solution for this? This is holding up our development so we want to find a solution ASAP.
