Specifications of the Wild Thumper 6D

Hello,

I would like to build a product arround this chassis, but I have some question. When I looked over the specifications, I couldn’t find the maximum payload that this chassis could carry. I want to use it for an agricultural exploration purpose, but I don’t know if it can handle a 8kg payload (batteries + payload) at a speed arround 4 m/s. (I saw that for the speed the motors were good, but I am not sure that it can handle this payload at this speed). And this reference might not be the more adequate too, I just found this one and seemed to be a good match, but maybe a better is available ?

Hi demineur, you’re in the right spot for your question!

I haven’t had much experience with this product but from what I have had, I don’t think it’s going to be able to transport 8kg at 4m/s. Unfortunately I don’t think any of our robot chassis are powerful enough for your requirements. :frowning:

Ah, what a shame, I was really foreseeing using your chassis. I know that a “homemade” solution could be great, but I am stuck with some awfully short deadlines. I will maybe comeback here for another project :slight_smile:
