Startup problem

Help…I just finished soldering all the components onto my Reflow Toaster v02 board. Upon powering it up, there’s no “Sparkfun” logo that shows up on the LCD and the status LED doesn’t flash. Is this normal? I double-checked every solder joint and there’s no short anywhere.

Any suggestions?

if so, it only comes with the boot loader in the PIC, according to the web page. You need to load in the controller software of which there seem to be several variants.
