I am doing underwater acoustics, and am interested in this product:
I will drive some vibration into a water column, and need to measure the oscillating pressure.
I’m confused on what is allowed to be submerged: is it the entire red board, or only the circular face of the sensor? If the latter, should I drill a hope in my tube holding the water, and insert the sensor (keepin the red board outside of the tube)? How do you recommend I seal this?

Just the silver cylinder and its white innards are submergible as-is…though you can add a conformal coating to the rest of the board/components/wires and submerge the entire thing (clear nail polish usually works with a few coats, hot glue is fast and works well too…I usually nail polish the boards and hot glue the wires/connections. There are also products you can purchase that are made for this kind of thing) if needed
A lot of folks have had success adding a tube + clamp to the cylinder and leave the unit above water with a tube projecting down into the tank or what-have-you (but even in this case it is a good idea to use a waterproof coating on the board, as humidity/moisture will be an issue ifn’t)
It’s safe for the board components excluding the sensor
Both of the other two you mentioned have PCB boards that are also fine, however their sensor elements are much more finnicky…you aren’t even supposed to touch them/get body oils on the sensor casing at all. They also have long burn-in periods that could be more easily affected by nearby ass/heatsinking. I advise using the aforementioned waterproof sensor instead for sensing in water.
