SW Maps cannot export CSV and accurate data

Hi there,

I can only export a ‘Spreadsheet’ document, but it shows no decimals or at most two digits after the decimal point of grid coordinate.

Could I export data with there digits after decimal point, which has been recorded in SW Maps? Please let me know how to set this. I tried several times but failed.

Secondly, I cannot export CSV document. My phone is a Android phone and the system shows ‘Exporting Data‘ only but the export does not finish. Do I need to update the software? Will the recorded data be lost in updating?

Thanks heaps!

The data has 4 decimal places, you’re just seeing the format displayed.
Click in the cell and you should see the full value.

Note: I just confirmed with iOS, and I exported as spreadsheet with UTM zone.

I can crank up an android tablet if you still have trouble and think Android SW Maps is working differently.

Thanks rftop,

please check this in your android table. There is not an option about this. Please find the figure below.

I just updated SW Maps on Android tablet and exported a project as Spreadsheet (XLS).
The X, Y, and Elevation Fields display 3 decimal places (verses 4 on iOS) after I Widen the columns.

The Lat/Long appears to be stored with 9 decimal places (sub-mm).

Settings:
Project Setting: UTM Coordinate System
App Setting: Feet
