I saw on the data/spec sheet that the HX711 offered by sparkfun is switchable from 10hz to 80hz. How does one switch from the 10 to 80hz? Mine is currently sampling at 10hz and I’d like it to be at 80hz. Thanks!
You need to open the RATE jumper on the back of the board.

Chris thanks for the reply! Just confirming - looks like I need to sever the trace between the two “rate” jumper pads?
Yep, you got it!
It’s hard to see the trace though since it’s covered by red soldermask, it’s right between those two jumper pads.
If you ever need to reconnect the trace, a small blob of solder connecting the pads will take care of that for you.
