Trying to understand dru failures?

My design passes both Eagles DRU at 8mils, and ViewmasterEZ’s dru for 8 mil for the gerber file.

Here is the minimal email info:

Unfortunatly, your design “panel2” violates our design rules of 8mil traces with 8 mil trace spacing.

From top_drc.log:

Beginning GCODE run

Unhandled Move from (4.992600,0.850900) to (5.164800,0.084900) ap 13 light flash

GCode execution failed!

and from bot_drc.log:

No images wre attched. I’ve tried a number of times, and just cant figure the problem.

One of the spark fun guys might look at the bot to tell you,

but if you post a gerber…it would let us other people see if there is a problem…for real.

I know this doesn’t sound like a great idea…but I doubt anyone here would copy your design, especially if it won’t pass. :slight_smile:

I’m taking a look at whats going on.

Er… this file came out of eagle?! What cam settings did you use to generate it? Its sorta oddly formatted. Did you postprocess it in any way?

Anyhow, the problem is I hadn’t written polygon aperature support yet [there was support for polygon macro aperatures, because those were far more common]. I’ll try and get around to coding that tomorrow,
