USB-C Breakout Board Required Connections

Hello,

My 5V supply requirements are 500mA output max. I was wondering for the SparkFun USB-C Breakout if I can just connect 2 wires, (-) GND and (+) VBUS to power my circuit. Or is there anything else required with CC1/ CC2, etc.
