Website to check for solar activity impacts on GPS

I had some time today to experiment with my SparkFun RTK Torch and new Android TCL tablet. On my 155ft test length I could not get RTK Fix for the entire 2 hours I was testing

DGPS a lot, confirmed my license loaded for Point Perfect. Only got RTK Float once for about a minute

Experimentation with signal to noise and satellite elevation did not seem to make a difference

I let it sit one time for 30 minutes

Was today a bad solar flare day?

What’s your favorite place for checking?

Maybe it was a bad Point Perfect day ?

There has been intense solar activity today and tomorrow…

Just my luck…. Well maybe I’ll have time to experiment again later in the week

I let it run another 30 minutes and still only DPGS…. Not RTK Float or RTK Fix

So if it gets into the R1 level should I expect trouble in general?

The solar weather fansite solarham.com is provided by an amateur radio operator but is a great general interest (and a lot of more obscure measurements, too) resource for current conditions as well as looking back a day or two. The paragraphs near the bottom are good summaries for what’s going on up there.
