Where can I find information about the WRL-08950

Hello!

I have the 434Mhz receiver with the SKU# of WRL-08950. It was probably retired over a decade ago, but I am just getting to work on an idea using the pair, or its descendants for something. Naturally the current Sparkfun site knows nothing about this particular one.

Yup. Retired since 2011-Jan-24…

The only info I can see is:

RF Link 4800bps Receiver - 434MHz
Supplier: HolyStone (holystone.co.tw)
Supplier Part Number: MO-RX3400-A434M

It looks like there may be a datasheet on slideshare-dot-net ?

Hope this gives you a head start,
Paul

It took quite a few tries but I managed to find a working link on the wayback machine: RF Link 4800bps Receiver - 434MHz - SparkFun Electronics

The documents section has 4 links, with only one being different than the links for the version we still sell RF Link Receiver - 4800bps (434MHz) - SparkFun Electronics

Hopefully these can get ya goin’

Slideshare Datasheet PDF (preview, has some info though and a somewhat sketchy free trial
SF github for RF stuff
“Good AVR Link”
Another guide

Edit: you may need to click that original wayback link as I tried to click through the ones I pasted and they are sometimes giving 503 error :-/

Hello!

Yes indeed all good. I remember buying both of them from an unofficial associate of Sparkfun. The Computer Store at NYU would let almost anyone buy stuff there, in this case parts like the to of hem for example, and of course the odd Arduino.

For computers they told I would need an NYU for that I’d, offered a comment that I had enough of them here.

I bought them around 2009 as it happens.
