Xbee Pro with Explorer USB

Hello,

I have two xBee Pro Series 2.5 and 1 xbee explorer + 1 xbee usb explorer.

I tried a loopback test with XCTU but when I increase the number of byte of each frame to 80bytes or more I got a lot of timeout. The distance between the two xbee was ~2m.

I tried a link between two xbee sending telemetry from an UAV and I didn’t have any problems (~100m and 10 000bps) but this afternoon I tried between two xbees to send the same datas (even a little bit less) and I received only 1 or 2 frames per seconds instead of 5.

Do you think the problem can come from the 3.3V regulator (150mA max)?

I found an other xbee explorer with a 250mA regulator but the power consumption of a Xbee pro 2.5 is 300mA. Do you think it will work?

I made some experiments and from the router/end device to the coordinator I don’t have communication problem but from coordinator to router/end device the link is very very slow.

Do you have an idea of the problem?
