Xbee Series 2B connection with various antenna types

I have Xbee Series 2B Pro with Wire Antenna

To be exact : Xbee Series 2 Pro Wire Antenna Modules XBP24 BZ7WIT 004

Can Xbee Series 2B interconnect with different antenna types.

So if i get a Xbee Series 2B with Chip/U.FL/RPSMA Antenna can my Wire Antenna Xbee’s communicate with them.

Also can Xbee Series 2B Normal communicate with Xbee Series 2 Pro.

If all the XBee’s are running the same Protocol set by the firmware they will inter-connect.

That means they can have different antennas and/or be Pro and non-Pro.
