I hope you’re doing well! We received 44+ XRP kits as part of a bulk order for our school district and began using them this semester (this week actually). The good news is the majority are functioning perfectly—Bluetooth connectivity and the initial activities are going strong!
However, we have one kit that will not power up via the USB port at all. It does briefly light when using the power pack but does not stay on. As a result, we cannot set it up or connect it. We would appreciate guidance on next steps or possible solutions
If only one unit out of 44 is misbehaving it is likely defective; Was it purchased from us? If so head over to Return Policy - SparkFun Electronics (contact vendor if purchased elsewhere) and we’ll get ya squared away
In the mean time, do you mind sharing a photo of the the top-side of the non-working unit?
Yep… we did a bulk order. We’re having a ton of fun in the class (4 sections).

The only thing I notice is the distance port looks like it might have a bent pin (I only see 3, but that might be a photo artifact)?
