I can’t get the Jetson Nano 2GB to go past the NVIDIA logo on boot. I’ve tried different images on NVIDIA’s website, different microSD cards, different power adapters (USB-C). Nothing seems to work. I have two Jetson Nano 2GB that both exhibit the same issue. The Jetsons are brand new, so I’m not sure what’s happening.
Is there a special type of microSD needed? They’re UHS-1 and 64GB. The images I used were from NVIDIA’s site - https://developer.nvidia.com/embedded/d … etson_nano . I used Balena Etcher to image them. I image Rapsberry Pi’s all the time with no issue. I can’t figure out what’s going on.
Sometimes you have to install an older (pre 4.3) version of jetpack/OS, and then upgrade to a 4.4 or later version so that the bootloader doesn’t get confused (going straight to newest version doesn’t out)…try that and see if it changes anything (also, let it sit for at least 1-2 min during splash screen)
I tried the oldest 2GB SD card image from 2020 and the oldest SD image period (even though it’s not meant for 2GB model). Unfortunately, it’s still not going past the splash screen, even after 6 minutes.
Should I be using a jumper or boot from a USB instead of a microSD? Do you know a specific image that does work right away? I have the P3448 module and the P3541 carrier board.
I have the same issue, but with a twist. I bought the newest JetBot kit with a pre-flashed microSD card and it stays at the nVidia logo screen. Was there a solution to this that anyone has been able to find? SparkFun made the card image and put it on there, so I’m pretty sure step was done correctly.
OK, I reflashed the same card and now it works. The kit flash on the card from Sparkfun was bad. What a terrible out of the box experience!!! This was my first order and I’m not impressed
