Disabled Port on Tools menu for Redboard Turbo

I have a Redboard Turbo connected with USB to my laptop running Windows 10. I followed all the instructions on the Redboard Turbo hookup guide. I was able to select my board under Tools: “Sparkfun Redboard Turbo”, however, I cannot select the port under Tools: Port. This menu option is disabled.

When I connect the board to my pc with USB it does show the “On” light. However, I can’t update any sketch to it. It tells me I must select a port.

I figured out the problem. I was using a charge-only USB micro cable. I found one which also transfers data and it worked fine.
