Disappearing ground plane question

Hi There,

Using Eagle; I’ve got a ground plane, that shows up when I hit “ratsnest”. All looks great, then I save the file and close Eagle. When I open the .brd file later the ground plane is missing until I hit ratsnest again. I’m concerned that I haven’t really got it correct and it won’t show up in the Gerber files.

Perfectly “normal” behavior. :wink:

You don’t need to hit ratsnest for the ground plane to be created in gerbers.

I would recommend getting in to the habit of hitting ratsnest just before creating gerbers though.
