Does SparkFun Photodetector Breakout - MAX30101 detect PPG on the wrist?

Does this sensor detect PPG on the wrist ? Or does it have a similar restriction like https://www.sparkfun.com/products/15219 which only allows the user to detect on the finger?

Those sensors work by detecting the amount of light signal that is reflected back to the sensor, which should function similarly on any body part that it is affixed to - but please note that you may need to adjust the code to compensate for the altered readings…for example, finger skin is thicker than wrist skin, and wrist vasculature is larger, so I’d guess that you’ll see slightly higher readings, as it’s expecting/calibrated for a finger

So, we won’t state that it’ll work, but you can probably manage to get something going
