Gator:Particle Random Heart Rate

Hello,

I am using the Gaotr: bit board with the Gator: Particle and the sample code.

The Particle part seems to give data but the heart rate is just random, like 20 for a bit then 100 then 200. It makes no difference if you have you finger on or off.

I have tried tow different particle boards and they both present the same behaviour.

Can you please confirm that the add on extension for makecode is working with these products?

The makecode should be working. I would try cleaning the module with a mild cleaner for the sensor’s lens and allow to air dry for at least 30 min. Use a rubber band to get a good balance of pressure between your finger and the sensor if possible.
