I have been using the rtk facet for 2 years until recently when I disassembled the unit since the external power button failed. After assembling the unit, I managed to power it using the internal power button (The external power button doesn’t work yet) however, on startup, the facet displays the message “GNSS Failed” and where it normally displays bluetooth mac now displays 4 zeros, the number of satellites as “X” and the accuracy as “N/A” On resetting the unit to factory defaults in Tera Term I get the message “Failed to configure the GNSS Module” please help me restore the facet to a working state.
With the Postcard, I solved the problem by connecting and disconnecting the power a couple of times.
I don’t know if it will have the same effect on the Facet. They have different brands of GNSS modules.
On the Facet, you can disconnect the power by holding down the external power button for several seconds.
I think it was 15 seconds or more.
@enokemboi - The “Unknown firmware version: MOD=ZED-F9P” message indicates the GNSS module is in safemode (basically idle, waiting for firmware). These steps will help you get the ZED working again. I recommend loading v1.50 of the ZED firmware.
If you continue to run into problems, let us know. We can do an RMA and get it fixed if you need it.
