IoT Brushless Motor Driver Voltage

Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone has experience with using the IoT Brushless Motor Driver? There’s a review highlighting that the motor voltage supply is limited to 3.3v. Looking at the schematic, this seems to be the case. Is this an issue for normal operation? Will the motor underperform at this voltage and is there a way to bypass the regulator to supply a higher voltage if necessary?

It works fine for general haptic operation, but additional load or torque requirements can cause issues.
