Good morning.
Just asking a question regarding using the RTK Facet for Field Maps on an iPad.
There’s a couple inconsistencies on the website.
-
On the page for the RTK facet it states that it’s fully compatible with FieldMaps, Survey123, and Quick Capture (Apple).
-
On the page regarding the firmware for the RTK, it states that it’s only compatible with QuickCapture and Survey123, not FieldMaps.
-
- https://docs.sparkfun.com/SparkFun_RTK_Firmware/gis_software_ios/
I’m looking to purchase one of these for a field crew doing sign locations and updates and need high accuracy that doesn’t break the bank.
If there’s guides available to creating a version of the Facet for slightly cheaper, I’m all ears!
I have full access to the Wiscors correction service.
Thanks!

Welcome to the community @JQuince .
From the first link you posted, when you click on the FieldMaps Link…
You get the following update:
ArcGIS Field Maps
Currently, ArcGIS Field Maps only works with MFi certified SparkPNT devices. As of writing, the TX2 is MFi certified.
The Second link you posted says :
ArcGIS Field Maps
"For reasons unknown, Esri removed TCP support from Field Maps for iOS and is therefore not usable by SparkFun RTK devices at this time."
Are you forced to use ESRI products ? Many people are moving away from the ESRI ecosystem for these “types” of reasons.
