PCB fialed DRC bot, need help!

Hey guys,

I just finished up my first PCB made in Eagle, for a robot. However when I submitted it, it failed the DRC bot. here is the Email:

Please double check your layout. Images of the Top and Bottom copper layers are attached. Also attached are logs output by the DRC bot. Traces are colored Purple if they violate the trace spacing requirements, and Orange if they violate the minimum trace width requirenments.

Fear not, you can resubmit your design as many times as you want.

I can only say two things.

  1. It told you why it failed, and told you where it saw the errors via the images. Should be easy to fix.

  2. You can’t link directly to images off gmail like that. Its part of your account. Try uploading them somewhere else.

sorry, here they are. But it says that errors will be in purple or orange, and I don’t see any purple or orange in these images.

That is a little odd. Someone with more experience will have to follow up :o

Look at the borders - you have a 0 mil line encircling your board as the board outline. Bump that up to 8 mil and you’ll be good.

Thanks busonerd it worked, sorry for troubling you guys with this, its my first time doing this so I was a little lost. But it worked!

I have the same problem to pass the DRC bot. My design seems to be compliant, but not. Please check what is wrong with my “LED Matrix” design.
