I received my RTK Surveyor Kit yesterday and right out of the box the receiver cannot pair with ANY device. It is recognized on Android, Iphone, Macbook and Windows but cannot successfully pair with any of these systems. The blue bluetooth light continues to blink with no avail. Is there any solution for this ? And is the product tested before being sold to the end user ? This issue is going to delay a new construction project that I am working on since I was planning on using this for construction layout staking on field genius.
FYI: I’ve had the same issue and been troubleshooting with a SparkFun rep with no success. I just submitted a repair request.
Resolved. I had to take apart the receiver and toggle the Bluetooth broadcast and NMEA connection switches upward on the motherboard/circuit. The bluetooth connection switches were on the wrong setting (RTCM) apparently. Once I switched the toggle setting, I was able to connect to Microsurvey field genius successfully. Without a base station or NTRIP I am getting a PDOP of 1 or less, and a horizontal accuracy averaging about 1.3 sq ft.

I am having the issue where my iPhone is not belong discovered even after firmware update and the Bluetooth setting reset to low energy for iOS usage.
After scanning in SWMaps for Bluetooth enabled devices, Rtk surveyor linked up and it was discovered as a Bluetooth device on my iPhone X. I have an Rtk subscription that I was able to use as the Ntrip client in SWMaps and started to receive corrected lat longs and elevation within 1cm.
