Scalp Oximetry and Temperature

I want to purchase a sensor that can continuously measure scalp oximetry and temperature. The MAX30105 Particle Sensor is intended for fingertip measurements. Does anyone know if this sensor would be suitable for continuously measuring scalp oximetry and temperature or is there a more suitable sensor?

Do you know if the MAX30105 can be used on other body surfaces or just the fingertip?

On our Pulse Oximeter board the MAX32664 does the heavy lifting with proprietary algorithms. You could used the MAX30101 with a IC that runs it’s own algorithms but that will take a significant amount of leg work.

I would also suggest inquiring Maxim Integrated’s techinical support if there is a product available to accomplish your goals.
