Hello I have some agricultural land to measure. I would like to know if apart from the SparkFun GPS-RTK-SMA Base Kit which would be the best option for the rover. I have 3 rasperry pi 4 in stock that I could have as a complement to your sparkfun gnns-rtk cards. My question is whether to measure polygons with a precision of 14mm the rover must be the same card as the base station? SparkFun GPS-RTK-SMA Kit or can i buy : 1.- SparkFun GPS-RTK Dead Reckoning ZED-F9R Connection Guide EITHER 2.- SparkFun GPS-RTK Dead Reckoning pHAT for Raspberry Pi, taking advantage of the fact that I have some raspberry pi 4 available. Can the SparkFun GPS-RTK Dead Reckoning pHAT be used as a rover to measure polygons with an accuracy of 14 mm without being installed in a car or without being installed in a drone? I would like to install it in my drone in the future, for now only as a rover for the base station. Thank you for your prompt response, explanation and recommendation. Thank you very much.
Please note the ZED-F9R cannot be operated in base mode. You will need a ZED-F9P for that. The GPS-RTK-SMA uses the ZED-F9P.

In general, any two RTK products can be mixed and matched. You should be fine using the pHAT with any other ZED-F9x product we sell.

Yes. The ‘Dead Reckoning’ bit really only applies to vehicles when:
-
Wheel ticks are provided to the board and
-
GNSS signal goes away (like when the car enters a tunnel)
If you’re walking, driving, even flying, around a field, with a clear view of the sky, the ZED-F9R (dead reckoning version) will perform identically to the ZED-F9P in terms of accuracy.
