I mistakenly erased the pre-flashed image. I realize now that I needed to read all the instructions on this page first however I’m now ready for the “extra work” necessary to fix my problem.

Do you have a location to download the pre-flash image? If not, could you provide instructions to setup SD card?
Don’t feel bad, I did the same thing.
I also need a link to download the image shipped in the kit.
The image file we currently have is 64GB in size.
We’re working on a way to shrink that and a place to host it.
The hookup guide is where the link to the image will likely be available so keep an eye out there.

I receive the following error trying to open sparkfun_jetbot_v01-00.zip with Etcher 1.5.56 on Windows 10 machine.

Have you tried uncompressing (i.e. “[unzipping”, “extracting”, or “expanding”) the file first? You should be giving it a ~62GB “.img” file.](Zip and unzip files - Microsoft Support)
By the way, just to clarify: use WinZip to unzip this file
