Understanding the SparkFun GPS NEO-M9N uFL

SparkFun_GPS_NEO_M9N_uFL.pdf (106.9 KB)

I AM DEVELOPING A CUSTOM BOARD USING NEO-N9N-00B.I CHECKED THE SCHEMATIC OF SPARKFUN GPS NEO-N9N UFL. I GOT CONFUSED ITS ANTENNA SCHEMATIC. ( CI160808-33NJ )THIS COMPONENT IS NOT FOUND IN IT. AND THE RESISTOR (R14) RANGE WAS NOT FOUND. CAN I GET THE CONFORMATION ABOUT IT.

The bead can be found at Digikey

The schematic shows the resistor as a 10 ohm part.

IS CI160808-33NJ OPTIONAL IN THIS SCHEMATIC?
CAN I GET THE BOM OF SPARKFUN GPS NEO-N9N UFL SCHEMATIC

Hi Rohith (@ROHITHINTHINGS ),

The inductor, resistor and capacitor not optional. They filter out noise from the 3.3V power supply and limit the current if the antenna cable develops a short circuit.

You can download the Eagle CAD files for the board. Eagle has a BOM tool which will show the part numbers.

10 Ohms is a safe choice for the current limit. If your active antenna needs more than 10-20mA, consider reducing it to 4.7 Ohms.

I hope this helps,
Paul
