I successfully paired my RTK Surveyor to my PC and iPhone earlier this year and have used the Bluetooth interface for approximately three months without any connectivity issues. The Surveyor worked flawlessly! When I attempted to use the Surveyor last week, the device failed to pair with my PC or iPhone. The iPhone does not list the Surveyor as an available device, but the PC does list the device correctly. When I attempt to pair in Windows, the Surveyor’s pairing led is 100% illuminated and the PC indicates the devices are connected. After roughly 3 seconds, the led starts flashing again and the PC posts a connection failure message. I did double check to make sure the Surveyor was in BLE mode and I reloaded the firmware, but still have not resolved the issue. WIFi and serial communications are working fine. Any suggestions?
You may need to clear Bluetooth Pairing Memory on the RTK Surveyor. Some Bluetooth devices have a memory limit for paired devices.
