I’ve got a RTK Facet L-band that suddenly will not see any satellites. The serial output says “No GNSS date/time available for system RTC”. I’ve reset to factory settings, reloaded firmware, tried firmware v 4.1, took it apart and looked at the antenna cable connector on the board – no visible problems.
What’s is being shown on the display after booting? When you did the factory reset, did you enable defaults? This may have altered on of your previous settings (or, conversely, not kept it!)
Is there an SD card inserted? If so, what state is it in (format, capacity/used, etc)?
I’m assuming you’re tests have been outside with a clear view of the sky? Was the unit able to see a number of satellites before? If yes to both of these, I suspect antenna failure of some sort. An RMA may be needed for repair.
Russel: It goes through a normal boot sequence. WiFi Connect. Getting Keys. Keys Updated. L-Band Rover, and then the usual status screen. Blinking satellite dish icon with one prong. 0 SV in view. Yes, I enabled factory defaults for the reset. Every fresh-out-of-the-box unit I’ve seen, and every other unit I’ve factory reset yet will show some satellites, though.
Sparky: Yes, testing outside with clear view of the sky. Another, known good RTK L-band facet will see satellites right next to this unit. I was kind of thinking antenna trouble. How can I initiate an RMA for repair?
