i just bought 2 of these units for offline local ntrip due to no wifi/cell signal where i plan on using them, they both came with v4.1 in them and i upgraded 1 of them to v4.4, but no base/cast mode is in either of them, i need them both as base/cast mode and not base/rover..
what am i missing??
ive searched extensively inside the menus using the wifi and web interface and even teraterm usb/serial interface and nothing..
do i have to update something else? or are both of these incapable of base/cast mode for airgapped ntrip broadcast?
Hi Paul.. thanks for getinig back to me, what are my options here besides returning this equipment, digikey rec these 2 units and shipped them to me from the states to GR, its not going to be cheap sending them back plus they have a “credit policy” not a refund policy..
can i change the F9P to something else?
i see the mosiac is running the Sept Mosiac X5, and ESP32-wrover, is it as simple as swapping them out to get this up and running?
no.. you understood correctly, i need the facet to provide ntrip due to remote locations, local GR hepos ntrip, rtk2go and others have proven difficult due to no cell svc in the mountain valleys..
i read thru that earlier, that creates a closed network between themselves, a to b, nothing else can connect to them , i need to connect a drone rtk system to atleast one of them using ntrip..
the main issue is i would not have online access, i cant use an online caster svc…
it wouldve been ideal if i can connect the drone controller as a rover to the base.. but it doesnt transmit a wifi ssid
