I have a sound board I am triggering using serial communication. I am trying to set this board to mono by upgrading the firmware as stated on the user guide. Everything works fine before I change the firmware. My audio plays fine out of the 4 channels L/R and the LED next to SD card stays solid , but when I update it to the mono firmware and try triggering it the board doesn’t do anything and the light just continues to slow single flash. If I put the stereo firmware back on, the board works as it did before.
Is there anything additional that needs to be done other than updating firmware?
Which firmware version number are you using?
I have tried all of the mono firmware versions available on robertsonics

Resolved! I didn’t have my audio files set to mono. I used audacity to make this change. It is working wonderfully now!
Glad you got it figured out!
I have a similar problem.
When I update it to the mono firmware the board doesn’t do anything. The light no flash.
When flashing the end, it blinked often, it means a flash error. After a new reset, it does not light up. I changed files to mono, I changed config file, but nothing. Also off if the power is USB.
Make sure your Load/Run switch is set to Run.
The Tsunami Super WAV board doesnt have a switch.
I did the update according to the instructions by pressing the buttons. Unfortunately, there is no information when the indicator starts to light up to release the button. I waited for different times - 10 seconds, 1 minute … It did not burn. In the end, I tried updating many times. Then, he began to blink frequently. I have updated again. I think it’s now a malfunction.
Question. How can I update the firmware using FTDI ? Isee it only for WAV Trigger. I have Tsunami.
Sorry about that, for some reason I though you had the regular WAV Trigger.
Unfortunately you can’t update the firmware via FTDI, only through the SD card.
Try formatting your card, re-downloading the production release firmware (version 1.00) and unzipping that to your card and reflashing and see if that brings the board back to life.
