Turn torch on with looong press, get two beeps, left satellite led blinks green a couple of times and then is solid orange:
Bluetooth device LiteRTK_xxx is published. Phone will pair but immediately disconnects.
Serial over USB receives repeated status lines and other information. Each key sent gets “E (1475441) CMD: not a valid cmd”
Double press button evokes single beep (docs say it should be two beeps) and no WiFi AP shows up.

Hi ptrmu - Welcome! I’m not sure when or how you got that Torch, but it doesn’t have firmware on it. Please checkout using the GUI to load firmware v2.1.
The torch arrived in the mail directly from Sparkfun a few days ago. The packaging is still sitting here. The included packing list is numbered #10664113 and is signed by Kristen Moorefield, Chief Operating Officer.
Thanks for the links to new firmware. I will try that process. The device’s behavior was so different from the docs that I suspected a firmware issue.
